Puerh Travelling Tea Boxes - Signup

There are two puerh TTBs that I will be restarting around 1 April. The first is pure puerh, and is intended for the serious puerh drinker. The second is called the Puerh plus TTB, and is intended for those less experienced. The big difference is that the second box is about 25% non-puerh, and lets you sample puerh then replace it with non-puerh teas you own (though not flavored teas). This is a great opportunity for those of you who wonder what all the buzz is about but don’t want to spend a lot of money sampling puerh.

See earlier posts for info on how the boxes work; typical shipping cost is $10-$15, depending on weight and distance. Each box has around 60 different teas.

Id love to sign up for one or the other I know I havent been around that long, but I have a pretty good collection of puerh’s that I have extra for sharing.

Ken: I’ll leave it up to you. Looking at your tasting notes, I think you would like the puerh-plus. It’s got a lot of high-quality non-puerh teas, but also a lot of puerh. I tend to move things from the pure puerh box to puerh-plus because it has more varied participation, so you won’t miss much.

Works for me, most of what I have for sharing in puerh is ripe from YS. And expanding it to let me put in a few oolongs and some nice aged white I have coming would make it easier to share a more varied selection.

I don’t think so. Liquid Proust does rum-flavored puerh, which seems popular, but I don’t think Roquefort-flavored puerh would be a big hit.

I’m very very interested to the pure puerh box. Is the box can go to Canada ? I can pay extra shipping cost if needed !

When I looked into this before, the price of shipping a 5 pound box to Canada was just absurd. What might make more sense is to have you select teas from the box and I’ll mail you only the tea you are interested in, then you can ship your contribution to someone further down the list to add to the box.

Dr Jim, I agree that a 5 pound box can be a lot, I know that only 1 pound can cost around $15 to Canada. Thank you for helping to find a way that I can join in

I’ll join in for the Pure Puerh box. That said, I travel for work throughout the warmer parts of the year, so if I’m out of state for a while when my turn rolls around, I’ll be in touch with you Dr. Jim, and we can just skip over me. Thanks!
