Well I couldn’t help myself any longer, so that was my order. Really excited about the Silver Needle Premium, Pu-erh, and Jade Cloud (which has been on my wishlist forever).

Their matcha! Their white rose is also amazing.

Their Wuyi Oolong was both the first tea by Rishi I had and the first oolong I had. It’s my current favorite.

My order’s due to arrive on Monday, hooray! So looking forward to that Pu-erh.

Rishi is not impressing me right now. My order was shipped last Thursday and was scheduled to arrive on Monday. When I checked tracking yesterday afternoon, it said that my name was not on the building directory, so they refused to deliver. I thought this was another UPS issue (they’re my archnemesis), but when I called this morning, they read me back a totally incorrect address for delivery – two numbers were transposed, and my apartment number had been changed into a letter. UPS told me that they could not change it to the correct address unless I gave them some number from a postcard they were sending to verify the address (uh, duh, that will obviously not be getting to me), or unless the shipper contacted them.

I checked my original Rishi order and I had obviously put in my address correctly, so it was mislabeled when it was sent out from Rishi. I called them this morning and left a message about all of this with the person I was told I needed to talk to. She called me back a few hours later and told me that she was sorry to hear that all of items had not been shipped, and to let her know what was missing and she would ship it ASAP. Ugh.

We played phone tag for awhile where I explained to her that she must have misunderstood. Eventually she did call back and said that she had changed the address with UPS and it should be delivered tomorrow. It was nice they took care of it relatively quickly, but still a pain in the butt.

Yeah it sucks when you’re the one that’s the guinea pig- but the only way to know how they are at conflict/problem resolution is for them to encounter them. Waiting for something you really want sucks even when it isn’t late. I hope your purchases are well worth your wait!:)

Hehe – probably because her order hasn’t come in yet. She’s been TAUNTING me with the goodies coming her way. She’s such an evil thing!

Make you a deal – you (or other Steepster happy people) show up in Texas (well, my area of it) and I’ll make you enough tea from my pantry to float a small boat. But no souvenirs! (Actually, souvenirs if you go to the tea shop in Plano… they have some good Mariage Freres teas there!)

Now how big is this boat we’re trying to float?

I concur, teaplz is very evil! She taunts me with her extensive tea knowledge and tells me of places all over NYC to purchase tea. She’s an evil seed I tell you.

Uhm, small boat. Bathtub toy boat… that could float in a sink? Because much more tea than that in one day and I might explode. (Plus, my Zojirushi only holds 4L. I can’t believe I just said ‘only’ there. But I ran out yesterday!)

Teaplz is a bad (but delightful!) influence on my tea purchasing. Badly delightful? Delightfully bad?

Ugh, Auggers is actually right. I have stuff coming in from Harney & Sons and TeaGschwendner. 22 teas in all. RIDICULOUS.

But I LOVE tempting the rest of you! Mwahahahah.

Well I figured when you said small you really meant a big boat. See 4L isn’t enough for you. You need a huge teapot. Sorapot isn’t for you, it wouldn’t hold enough, retract your ticket or just give it to me.

What is this Zojirushi!?!? I just googled it and it looks like a rice cooker, haha. You can’t even see the leaves!

Hot water heater/dispenser thing. It heats and maintains a certain temp depending on the settings (mine has 3 – 208, 195 and 175). It keeps water warm FOREVER. It’s always ready to dispense into a pot!
