Anyone tried Butter Tea?

Do you mean Yak butter tea? Even if I could obtain something like Yak butter I wouldn’t know where to start. They sell instant Yak Butter Tea but in my understanding it contains gluten and I am on a gluten free diet.

Not Yak butter but salted butter tea, yes. I was instructed to get about 1/8 inch of butter floating on top of the cup. No recipe really.

It was not nearly as nasty as I thought it might be. It gave a silkyness to the tea rather than a greasiness as I had expected.
