Reblends?
OK – I think I finally got it to work!
The poll has been posted on our webpage – vote for up to six teas that you’d like reblended for our 12 Teas of Christmas box. The teas with the highest number of votes will be reblended for the box and will also be available on a limited basis after the day that the tea represents on the 12 Teas of Christmas menu.

Our Christmas Box this year will be a little different – instead of 11 reblends and 1 new tea that becomes the tea of the week for Christmas week, it will have 6 reblends (as voted on by you – click on the link above) 5 new teas that will be available for a limited basis (and one or more of these teas may wind up being a tea of the week too) and 1 tea that is an exclusive tea. It will only be available to those who purchase the box.
Off the top of my head I can think of Banana Pudding Black Tea, Marshmallow Treat Genmaicha, and Marshmallow Assam though I am sure there are more I just haven’t thought of yet.
I loved your Cranberry Cider rooibos, so I hope that makes a reappearance. :D
I support all of VariaTEA’s choices. Plus anything at all you can cook up with marshmallow.
Also, I would LOVE to sign up for a genmaicha sampler if something like this is on the horizon for a kickstarter.
The genmaicha collection was originally done as an add-on on the original kickstarter (for the start up funds) – I don’t know for sure if we’ll actually be utilizing Kickstarter for this year’s pre-sales or not – we’re still discussing that.
The big “pro” to doing it on Kickstarter for us is that it’s two separate sites so the sales are kept separate which makes things really easy when it comes to fulfillment of both the pre-sales as well as the other onsite sales. However, one big “con” to the Kickstarter is the amount Kickstarter pockets from it. I’m not entirely convinced that the sales that originated from Kickstarter (rather from links to Kickstarter) were enough to justify the additional expense of Kickstarter – so we’re still tossing around ideas.
Not a Christmas tea, but I would love to see Witch’s Brew Chai reblended. One of the very few Lapsang Souchong Teas I can stand:) Would also vote for Peach Cardamom.
Peach Cardamom has been reblended and is available now: http://52teas.com/peach-cardamom-green-tea-taster/
The Witches Brew Chai is one of the options I’m planning to offer to vote for for October’s Retro Monday – although that vote is some time off yet. :)
Strawberry Lemonade Bai Mu Dan
Shamrock Tea (because I missed it when it was reblended the 1st time)
Watermelon Raspberry Green Tea
Black and Blue
Butterbeer
Earl Pink
Rainbow Sherbet
Also, dulce de leche, caramel, toblerone like flavours,
Extra bonus if they are with chocolate, marshmallow, and/or nuts.
I don’t think 52Teas ever did a dulce de leche flavor – not that I’m opposed to one, but it would be a new flavor (not a reblend).
I’m intrigued by the idea of a toblerone type of tea – I’d need a new name for it as I prefer to avoid the cease and desist letter.
I didn’t come on board until you had taken over 52teas, so my ideas are just thoughts on what teas I think you would do brilliantly.
(It’s mind-blowing that 52teas hasn’t yet done a dulce de leche plus something tea.) Apologies for muddying up the thread.
No apologies necessary. I probably do have a dulce de leche flavor idea on one of my ever growing list of flavor ideas. :)
