Another tea recommendation for a book club

My tea book club is going to be reading Station Eleven as our next book. I’ve had great success with using tea pairing suggestions from all of you in the past. Any ideas for a tea that might go well with the book Station Eleven?

Black Sunshine from Andrews & Dunham Damn Fine Tea. Or a similar earthy, smoky tea. Symbolic ashes of the old world kind of thing.

A blooming tea to represent the theme of “survival is insufficient”; one must have beauty in life or is it really life. Also the blooming of new societies.

Good book choice again. :)

I haven’t read the book, so I’m no help. I just have to say that this is such a cool idea and I wish I knew people who were as dorky about tea as I am in real life to do this with!

Haha I certainly am a nerd about books and tea. Many of my book club members weren’t as into teas as I am but I’ve been able to introduce them to the world of teas through this book club and they are really getting into it!
