Rec’d an email…shipped my Series # 1 – TODAY! I will get back to you when rec’d and when I open so carefully the package and gleefully stare in wonder and awe at the colourful labels on the # 1 and then, peel open the tin and pull it up to my nose and taste the aroma wafting through my very being!! Aaaaahhh.
I can see I’m not the only person really excited to get their Series 1. I think it might come this week, barring oddness with the post due to the holidays.
I ordered on Friday. With Cdn customs and then Canada Post, Santa Claus letters, parcels, snow, and the dredded tea fairies that appear in the morning mist or in my neck of the woods – morning frost – I am sure to receive my little piece of heaven in about a week…takogiti…have u tasted it as of yet…is the water boiling?
15 days… my tea has arrived – I can now sit and enjoy a cuppa tea and see what all the fuss is about…stay tuned!
Mine got here super fast. I’d say within 2-3 days. Though I live pretty close to where they’re based. Here’s hoping you guys see yours soon! [Though I think Canadian residents may have to wait a bit; the wait’s a big part of why the shipping got so cheap!]
If takgoti is based in VA and DFT is close to tagoti, DFT is somewhat close to chrine, who is based two states away from takgoti.
@chrine It sounds like the next sentence should be something like, “If all three packages of tea leave at the same time from the same station and one tea falls off the truck in Maryland, what time does takgoti brew her tea?”
My Damn Fine Tea has arrived! I did not expect it today at all. So when the husband brought it up with the mail after work I was surprised. The cardboard shipping box has the A&D DFT logoing on it. Of course, I opened it up right away and proceeded to sniff the teas. Heavenly tea scents and lovely leaves, and the tins are so cute and stuff to the brims with tea. I had been about to shower and head off so I couldn’t try a cup right away, which totally sucked. Then I had a bad headache before I even made it out the door. Consequently, I am just now enjoying my first cup. I went with the Dragonwell, whose smell I liked best, and because it’s late at night and I don’t need the caffiene. It’s pretty great, pretty Damn Fine if I do say so myself. I’ll be posting up a Tealog for it next.
Mine came as well! It was sitting in front of my doorstep when I arrived home. Kind of scary seeing as I live in the city. Anyone could of taken it!
I’m happy that it was still there for you. Have you tried any yet?
I am in the hinterlands…still waiting….talking ’bout it at work…telling friends that I will be getting a real early Christmas gift….waiting….waitiinnggg……
I tried ceylon but I found it to be too weak. I don’t think I used enough leaves. I noticed it said one large heaping after I made my cup of tea. I’ll try it again before I post a review. It definitely didn’t taste as bad / flat as Adagio’s Ceylon.
Oh yeah! I’m heading over there to check it out. I’m watching Series 2. When the number of them gets low, I’m going to buy.
Haha, I’ve been watching it closely as well. Tempting, but I don’t know…
Cool, I was so curious as to what the new series was going to be. Definitely something to stick on the ‘to shop for – eventually’ list. :D
