2016 Green Tea, Where to Buy
Just wondering from whom and when you will be buying your 2016 spring green. Even as a newbie, its obvious to me that green tea time is here. My question is where you plan to buy and when is the best time. Seems like the prices are high now. Do they decrease with time? When are they at their peak and when is it “too late”. What are your recommendations where to buy? Thanks!

Yes, 2016 spring green teas are always a bit more when buying at this time. Well worth the price in my opinion but if cost is an issue the spring teas usually get priced down sometime before the autumn harvest (at least they do at Yunnan Sourcing). They are still good but you don’t want to order more than you can drink in 6 months. You might even want to refrigerate or freeze them when you get them to extend the freshness.
Verdant tea has some really great Laoshan greens.
They are expensive but definitely worth the price. I get my Chinese green tea from teavivre.com. They are having a great little promotion right now on their website too. Verdant tea is also very good!
Verdant and Teavivre are two of my favorites for spring greens. The nice thing about Teavivre is they offer sample packs so you can try a bunch of different teas.
We at Wooree Tea have the first harvest from South Korea in stock. We have managed to get some good prices on freight to North America. Check out www.wooree.co.nz
We just added two organic green teas that I think are very good.

I also recommend 2016 Nan Jing Yu Hua Cha,
We don’t get such good Nan Jing Yu Hua Cha every year.
