decent thermos for tea sessions?
I bought this thermos:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003GIS4TW/ref=sr_ph?ie=UTF8&qid=1459094282&sr=1&keywords=thermos
it has a plastic screw part and never poured that great (a bit too wide and messy), and three months later it now leaks air, so its constantly gurgling and losing heat. Amazon has refunded me the money.
Anyone have any recommendations for decent one that is well made? are they all plastic for the screw parts?
Get a Zojirushi thermos. They work great and come in sizes from 12oz to 67oz approximately. They are available on Amazon. I have a 16oz thermos and a big sports bottle I think they call it at around 67oz. They are made in Japan I believe.
You may not find this one on Amazon UK, but this is the one I have from Amazon.

Thanks, a bit more expensive than the thermos but hopefully a better mechanism – the zojirushi look like they are made with being used repeatedly in mind.
The Zojirushi keeps water or tea very hot for quite a few hours. I’ve drank the tea six hours later and it’s still very hot. If your just using it for a tea session I should imagine it will keep the water at near boiling for at least two hours. It think it will keep the water hot for about twelve hours.
This Nissan thermos is my current fave, looks nice, one hand function and keeps the water hot -http://goo.gl/hBGsbp
