"i want to play a game"
so i bought this: http://www.teavivre.com/shi-piao-yixing-clay-teapot/ yixing pot along with another one, and i realize i was probably too hasty, since its too big for my purposes, and i now have a pot for both ripe and raw and thats all i need right now. i will trade this pot for tea with someone who wants it. its unseasoned. have a mountain of tea and want to use some as currency? pm me.
i like raw and ripe puerh but nothing too astringent, i like black, and oolong as well.. im not that into white, yellow, or green. remember $58 is the guideline for value. cya
If I didn’t already have multiple pots in that size range I would trade you for it. If no one wants to trade I suggest you season it and use it for when you have guests. It is a good size for gongfu for two people, or even three.
It could also be a good pot for something like black tea which you are usually steeping fewer times so a larger pot is more acceptable.
that is true, that is true. i feel like id have to use my actually english style tea cups to hold all the tea. the problem is i usually drink tea by myself.
I have the same problem. I never have anyone to drink with. I usually use my gaiwans more than my pots in truth.
If we ever all found ourselves in one place with all of our tea and teaware… well that would be a sight to see.
My only fear is that my wife would change the locks while I was gone.. All the tea and teaware out of the house at one time?! That would be too great an opportunity!
