i will spend more then $1 hahaha
Doing all right on the buying binges, although I’ve definitely got a problem with impulse buying.
January: $27.30
February: $33.00
March: $0
April: $23.40
I spent about 1000.00 last year. I love my blueberry tea and drink it everyday it is delicious hot or cold… and I like the hibiscus heaven tea also..
Already far too much with the Spring green teas and the new pu’er teas are not even out yet…
New month! Time to track spending again and get really depressed at where all my money went.
I made a promise not to order any more until I drank down my current collection under 85 ounces. 85 ounces is nothing, right? Barely anything!
My husband does not agree.
So yeah, I have a nice big order all queued up in my online shopping cart just waiting for my tea collection to edge down a tiny bit more. This morning: 86 1/4 ounces left. Almost there!
Jan spending: $210.49
Feb spending: $72.24
Mar spending: $60.50
Apr spending: $52.50
2016 total: $395.73
Wow, after seeing some of these totals my bank account is glad I am just a tea lover and not a connoisseur – half of my collection is from the grocery store. After some – or several – buying binges in ‘15, I’ve gotten a big enough stock pile to last me – and the co-workers I share with – a year so I wasn’t planning on buying tea this year.
But that hasn’t worked out; $200 so far.
I have been bad this year.
~$50 at DAVID’s TEA
$45 Granville Island Tea
$8 at Teavana
$60 52 Tea
$110 in various sample sales and whatnot
$3 buying 200 mesh bags to steep loose leaf on the go (ebay is so much cheaper than in tea stores!)
$40 on minimus.biz trying individual tea bags
$30 buying tea in a cafe or if I’m eating out
$60 Quarter to Tea
I know I’m buying some Pu’erh at some point, but I don’t know what I like yet so I’m waiting. I’m going to be buying from DAVID’s again soon so that will be another $30 or so. I can’t seem to keep myself from buying tea. :(
At about $260 currently, which is much less damage than I was expecting considering the way I started the year, but also doesn’t bode well for keeping my spending under $500 for the year.
