Help me find this tea!!

I have spent several days searching for this tea for a friend… A tea she enjoyed very much at our favorite tea place that, unfortunately, closed its doors in August.

I thought if I could find a match for her favorite tea, that she would not pine away.

So, the tea blend: It was called American Carnival, and included a very strong apple flavor, but also included vanilla AND caramel – and it was a BLACK tea. I have found several herbal teas similar but… just not the same.

If anyone knows of something that sounds similar, I would be very appreciative. I have looked into blending my own, but that is so new to me that I don’t really trust myself with it!

Thanks everyone. :)

It is possible that they sourced it, do you have a picture?

This sounds like something that Lupcia or David’s Tea will be able to replace for your friend; but you may have to add the vanilla or caramel yourself to the black apple blends (this is quite easy to do).

I have very little to go on, really… “Ride the Ferris wheel, smile, giggle, and laugh your cares away — guilt-free as you tickle your palate with our version of the American carmel-vanilla apple.” That is literally all the description they have off the website (which I am surprised is still operational..).

How would you go about adding in one or both of those flavors to say.. just a regular black apple type tea?

Thanks for the quick response.

Well, the most important thing is the black tea base… there are a plethora of black teas out there. Do you have the site or a picture of the tea? For vanilla flavoring there are two different ways to go: before or after. This is the same with caramel, except you can make your own if you’d like.

I found the web site that I think you were quoting from. It’s fully operational. It let me build a cart, get shipping. I didn’t place the order but it looked like I could have. Maybe they just closed the actual store. Maybe send them an email and see if you can still order online….

Their description tells me nothing :/

Wow thanks everybody for all the great input. I have actually emailed them but as of yet no reply – and I sent a message to their facebook page with no reply as well… I am going to try one of these ones from Etsy, or a blend I found on Adagio. Hopefully it is close! Again thanks everyone for the input, it helped me out so much.
