Pretty good then. Hopefully it held up to some x country traveling
I’ve finished sorting through the box. It’s been a lot of fun, though it was a lot harder than I thought it would be to sort the box into two. Lots of tough decisions about what is a beginners tea and what I should keep for the main box. I’ve probably screwed up a few selections, but I tried to do the best I could.
I removed a total of 112 grams of tea, completely finishing the 1997 Aged Top CNNP Zhong Cha Yiwu, 2003 HK Menghai 7542, 2003 Jing Mai Tia Lian, 2004 Xinfu Yiwu, 2009 Banpen, 2012 Bulang (Malaysia Stored), 2015 Milk, Cream, Alcohol, and the 2015 Pin. (This doesn’t count removing the puerh frisbee; it’s gone to a better place.)
Most of my additions are going to to into the beginners box: 2009 Menghai 7572, 2011 Raw Yubang Silver Bud, 2005 6FTM Nannuo, and a Mid-2000’s Wet Raw. However, I did add 23 grams of YQH 2005 Yiwu Chawang and a couple of Whispering Pines shou balls for round 4. I’ll post a complete inventory when I mail out the box, but am waiting for a donation from Essence of Tea before I send it out.
Whispering Pines has shou balls? I did not know that. I would seriously buy A TON of 5g mini-tuos of Huron Gold Needle, or Teji, if they existed.
The full name is “Imperial Shou Mini-tuocha” I don’t recall when I got them; they’ve been kicking around my sample box for a while. I think they’re 7 grams each. You’re currently 3rd on the list: with luck you’ll get to try one.
