The great Butiki sip down!

I know a bunch of us are having focused sip downs of all of our Butiki teas (especially the flavored ones). Anyone want to join me and make it official?

My goals for sip downs are:
-Lemon French Macaron-
-Boomstick-
(both are in baggies so they go first)

Then:
Ruby Pie
Three Friends
Raspberry Truffle
Watermelon Xylophone
Dark Side of the Melon

I may continue on and do the rest, not sure:
Malty Irish Breakfast
Crimson Horizon
Hong Yun Black

Sipping on Caribbean Rum Punch now! Going to bring some with me to chug in Vegas… I have so freaking many of her teas!

Here’s my list:

Marmalade & Pistachio Toffee
Strawberry Rhubarb Cheesecake
Cinnamon Vanilla Squash (x2)

Wow.. . I seriously thought I had more than this. I must have been drinking the teas more regularly than I realized.

I guess I am the only one vacuum sealing and hoarding what little I have left!! Lemon French Macaroon? Marzipan you lucky girl! :)

I have a few I’m hoarding as well. Will vacuum sealing crush the leaves?

TeaNTees-That’s smart! I highly recommend the vacuum sealing. It’s a little late for anyone that hasn’t done that yet though.

Yay for a sip down but sad too. I know a lot of the flavored teas left aren’t going to taste that great at this point.

Oh gosh, don’t say that. Of course they won’t taste FRESH but they still taste fine. Hopefully they will for a while. I put mine in resealable pouches though. I sipped Smoked Banana Maple today. :D

Marzipan-The black teas you have listed should be able to hold a while if you do want to save them. Just make sure they are in a tightly sealed canister. :)

I should probably make it a priority to finish them, come to think of it… especially the flavored ones! I’ll join in on this sipdown but it will be very hard for me to complete it since I not only have so many different teas remaining, but in addition I also have so much of each tea left. I’ll post a list later tonight!

Any tips on vacuum sealing would be greatly appreciated. Equipment/method/etc.

Man, I wish I had seen this earlier. I had an ounce, and left it in a hotel. The flavor was almost gone anyhow.
