2006 TGYSwappin'

So recently I bought two TGY cakes because I thought that was an odd idea: https://instagram.com/p/6TM5sSxYGO/

The unroasted one is a 2014 and I won’t be chipping anything off of it until 2019, but the 2016 lightly roasted TGY cake is already breaking off nicely: https://instagram.com/p/6TNVOhRYG_/

I went ahead and selfishly took the best 100g off of the cake to age some more for myself. While the rest could be stored away as well, I thought others might be interested in obtaining some.

I have 3 large packages and 2 medium packages of this packaged up.

Here’s how ugly the pieces I broke off look: http://postimg.org/image/qh7rp5uu9/full/

As for taste: I find this lightly roasted and aged TGY to be a mixture of the flavors I get from a weak TGY mashed with some wuyi oolong taste. I’m not sure how else to explain it.

Ideally it would be awesome to drink 5g two or three times a year and compare the changes as the roasting taste as well as the TGY taste evolves.

One and only bump: I’m about to (this weekend) cork screw whatever is not given away in some bamboo.
