Silk Road Teas order, anyone?
Silk Road Teas has some new spring 2015 teas in and I have 3 teas I want but I’m balking at the $11 shipping cost. I also have a 15% discount code for an order. Would anyone else want to get in on an order? I’d probably also be willing to split the Yunnan Gold Bud and Black Dragon that I want since they come in 4 ounce sizes.

Aaaagh. I was trying to be good until Black Friday, but I’d love to try the Concubine, Breast Flower Fragrance, and Yunnan Gold Bud, if those are being divvied up. No more than an ounce of each, though. And if anyone wanted to split up some Silver Needle, I’d be in on that. I’m looking for a decent replacement for my Butiki Kenyan Silver Needle stash.

Here is the wish list. If you want an ounce of something, speak up. One ounce minimum buy-in for simplicity of splitting things up. Everything comes in 4 ounce quantities so 4 people can get in on one tea. If you would take more than one ounce of something, also say so. I’ll give this either until we get everything split up or until Wednesday and then we can decide if we want all of this. :) Remember when you are adding up what this might cost you to take out 15% for the coupon. It’s not much but it’s something.

Is the order already placed? I’d be down to get the Impression cake if someone can attest to its quality. I’m skeptical of a 357 for under 50 bucks…
The impression cake is a Yunnan sourcing production, you can get it cheaper there, and they have multiple vintages
I have both impression cakes from YS, I thought that was YS’s own personal cake. I didn’t know it was a commercially sold product. I also thought that it was just a coincidence of the namesake.
The one silk road sells is the YS production. Silk road doesn’t source their own puerh, a lot they get from YS
If you read the description for the 2012 impressions on Yunnan sourcing he even mentions how they left the wrapper unbranded so others can re sell it as their own
