What's the best way to remove those brown tea stains from my infusers (like the Bodum type)?
How do YOU remove tea stains from the netted Bodum type infusers that sit in a mug? Also the metal infusers that spring shut (hold a teaspoon)? I’d love to have them looking like new! Thanks
I’ve given up using citric acid or baking soda for cleaning because smart soak works so well. If you want to see some great before and after photos I did a write up on my blog about it back in May. OxyClean+ hot water, half an hour
yes, it’s more or less the same as smart soak, but you don’t have to wait for it to arrive if it’s already in your house (and less expensive too!)
I use denture tablets! They are super cheap for a ton, and work wonders. All I do is fill up said tea-stained container with warm/hot water, wait 30min, then rinse with more warm water and wipe with a soft sponge. If it’s good enough for fake teeth, it’s good enough for teaware!
