Great Canadian Travelling Tea Box - *Round 4* - Sign ups OPEN

Honestly? I think the Davids Tea is taking up room that could be used for other teas. If worst comes to worst and you really don’t want to keep it tea leaves make very good compost.

I’d also maybe go through the box and take out any teas that have been through several rounds if nobody wanted them before they probably won’t want them now – again it just ends up taking up space and costing us more in terms of shipping.

Hmm, I’ve been watching this for a while, do you still have room for one more? I think I would like to participate if you do, I have no preference on order, and I’m in Alberta. Thanks!

Awesome. I’ll get on that sometime in the next couple of days than. It’ll be necessary if I start swapping anyways, I suppose.

Here is an update. I had hoped to get the box out today but some not so cool stuff happened and the day got away from me. Doesn’t everyone else in the world know how important tea is.

I am hoping to get it out tomorrow. I will keep the thread updated.

Just a few notes:
I am going to take the books out of the box. Although it is interesting to keep track of who tried what, etc., I thought it was taking up space and adding weight.

Also, because it is a very small round this time I don’t think we will have a theme.

If anyone disagrees please post ASAP.

The GCTTB was a blast. The box is crammed full of tea! The box is now on the move again. I wish I could have kept it for a few more days, but some personal issues have appeared, and I knew things would get too crazy in the household, for me to get it out in a timely manner, so I unfortunately had to pass on a couple tea tastings :( Maybe in the next round.

I hope somebody finds something that suits their tastes. I think I kept it sorta of even, from what I took and what I added. I was tempted to add A LOT MOAR!!! To decrease cupboard size. Maybe next round, when my life will hopefully be stable, and I’m able to sample more.

Final note: I haven’t tried the tea’s from House of Tea, so I apologize ahead of time if not tasty. The owner told me that she doesn’t use artificial ingredients in her tea, just wanted to add that in, if it’s important to someone.
