Well, for now, I’ll post here. Maybe it’s best to leave all the PMs flying around until folks sort out what they want after they see how the breakdown in cost is going to go. :)

Okay, gang. Here’s the scoop. Ette has 5 teas right now, 50 gram tins. We have Dustin, Beorhthraefn, tealizzy, TheLastDodo, Liquid Proust, kieblera5, beelicious, Roswell Strange, sren and me. That’s 10 minimum with maybe Anlina added in. Shipping is about $12 USD so add $1.20 for shipping from them and probably $2-3 or so for domestic shipping from me unless you get one of the tins with your share and it may be more due to size of package.

Here are the interested parties for each tea:

Mango Sticky Rice: TheLastDodo, Tealizzy, Liquid Proust, Dustin, Beorhthraefn, beelicious, Roswell Strange
Pandan Chiffon: TheLastDodo, Dustin, Beorhthraefn, beelicious, Tealizzy, Roswell Strange
Kris Grey: Nicole, kieblera5, Beorhthraefn, beelicious, Tealizzy, Roswell Strange
Fortune Cookie Chai (note that this can come in a pouch for less $): kieblera5, Roswell Strange, Tealizzy
Tiger Mint:
Lychee Konnyaku: Nicole, Roswell Strange, beelicious

The tins are $19.20 USD for 50 grams, $3.84 for 10 grams. I don’t think it’s worth it to everyone to split further down than 10 gram sizes so that’s the least you can get.

Amount of tea you want or $ you want to spend (don’t forget about the shipping when thinking about this)
If not getting a full tin of something, is your heart set on having one of the tins and does it matter which tin?

As an example:

I want at least 10 grams of Kris Grey and Lychee Konnyaku but will take more if needed. I’d take 10 grams of Fortune Cookie Chai & Pandan Chiffon as well to lower the cost for others getting these but don’t have to have any at all if others want more. $ to spend isn’t an issue, I’ll go by amount of tea. :) And I don’t need a tin.

Definitely not interested in getting any of the tins ‘cause that just adds unnecessary shipping costs since I’m in Canada but I’ll grab 10g of everything EXCEPT the Tiger Mint (just doesn’t sound good to me).

I’m also willing to take up to 25g of Mango Sticky Rice if that’s easier/any of it ends up not spoken for.

Mango Sticky Rice is the one I’m most interested in, but the others all sound interesting too and I figure I can review them on SororiTea Sisters which helps with justifying more tea ;)

This is a wonderfuly exciting idea, and I would love to participate and would be happy to pay in advance since I am newer here. If it doesn’t work for to join in, I understand and will be on pins and needles for your reviews. :) I am in WA state.

If possible I would like 20g of the chai, the mango, the grey, and the panda but could take more of any if needed. I don’t need a tin and will prioritize amount of tea over $.

So everyone knows, I’m also waiting on a reply from Victor Kon. The order doesn’t have shipping available to figure on it, I assume because it is a large order. So shipping will likely be a bit more, or it could be considerably less. :)

Right now it looks like everything will work out for splitting.

And if no one has to have a tin, I’ll ask Victor about maybe skipping the tins for all of them (except for folks getting a whole 50g of their own).

Good news. Victor is going to let us get all but 1 of each tea in pouches rather than tins. That cuts down the cost which essentially means that if we continue to figure each 10 grams of tea at $3.90 USD as though they were still in tins, means there will be no shipping cost to pass on to you. :)

That also means that there will be tins for Mango, Pandan, Fortune Cookie & Lychee for someone who wants them. The Kris Grey tin goes to Beorhthraefn since that is a full 50 gram order. :)
