Tell me about my tea ware?

I’ve been resisting getting into yixing tea ware so I’m not very informed. I finally brought this set home from my grandma’s place, and I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on it – is it hand made, authentic yixing, anything interesting about it?

What I do know is that my dad brought it home from China about 30 years ago after a family visit. It may have been newly purchased then or it might have been in the family for a while already – impossible for me to know for sure.

Hah yes it is. It was so weird getting active on Steepster and seeing my name everywhere, since both my names are pretty uncommon.

I remember admiring it when I was a kid but not understanding why it was dark brown and so tiny. I drank either Earl Grey western style or jasmine tea in big sharing pots at restaurants and this tiny set didn’t make any sense to me.
