So I was just looking for sites that offer inexpensive samples, and I found the Tea Table. They provide 3 free samples with every order with no minimum purchase, and charge only a flat $3 shipping rate for orders under $20 in the US. So you can get 3 samples plus 1 oz. of tea – that’s the cheapest thing you can purchase, since they won’t allow more than 3 samples per order, even if you want to pay. It all costs around $5 total.

I’m just curious what people think of them? Do you have any specific recommendations? Good or bad experiences?

I have not tried them, but wanted to point out another website. Yezi tea offers 3 free samples with any purchase as well, and shipping is something like $5. It all comes out to about $10 shipped depending on what sample you choose to buy.

There are quite a few threads here on steepster that list companies that are into giving out samples (sometimes under certain circumstances such as having a tea review blog or being on this site with a few reviews under your belt.)

And there are also companies listed that sell reasonably priced samples.

I just did it! I paid $5.70 for an ounce of Vanilla Chai and got a sample of Caramel Black, Earl Grey Oolong, and Kiwi Black. I’ve never had kiwi tea, so this will be interesting!
