I need to get red envelopes for my brother’s kids, and I hope my grandma will be preparing food at some point, but life is hectic right now, so probably nothing special today.

I’m going to try to resist sales, and I will probably drink a lot of Yunnan blacks today, because I usually do :)

I caved in and replenished my supply of Yi Fu Chun from Yezi.

I am going to be drinking as many classically Chinese teas as possible today :D Right now I am drinking What-cha’s Yunnan Dragon pearl, grandpa style. I think I may crack out the Tai Ping and have Ba Bao Cha (8 treasures) with dinner.

I’m waiting on damn fine teas new year blend…. sigh

Soo like last year at this time I had an account here but didn’t actually check it till around the summer. Do tea places have really good sales like they do for BF/CM? Or less than that?
And how long do they do sales for? Like how long do they celebrate the New Year? My dad goes to China all the time…I really should know this…I knew how long they celebrated there before…but my memory sucks haha

Also I finally gave in to the Verdant’s Free ship offer and picked up an ounce of Laoshan Village Chai. Wish it was going to be cold here sooner than November. Would be perfect chai weather. But I’m sure I’ll be in the mood for it enough other times before then :P

I’m a bit disappointed teasource didn’t do the same sale as its previous Chinese new year sale(all Chinese teas were50% off, in which I spent a lot of money)…
Ah, well. I can always wait for Teavivre’s summer sales for its anneversary.

I haven’t seen any sales so far… Doesn’t mean I still didn’t spend a bunch to celebrate…

My son is a goat, hopefully this will be his year.
