Picked up a bag of this at a hotel in Amarillo. The main flavor is a gentle lavender supported by a chamomile base. I don’t taste any cinnamon, which is fine because I didn’t want it in this blend. It didn’t need sugar. It was just pleasant and gentle. I’d drink this again, but I wouldn’t seek it out. I had it at room temperature at the office when I realized I forgot my loose leaf for the day.
Thanks to AliceG for this tea. This is one you have to drink slightly quickly because the flavor gets a little weird as it sits. The flavor seems to be more similar to peach than to mango. The flavor is a little dusty and strange. It’s not very high quality. Perfectly drinkable, but there are many better things to drink.
Ordered in lunch for myself today at work and I got a free drink as part of my meal. I wasn’t in the mood for pop or anything carbonated so I just grabbed a Pure Leaf iced tea. It wasn’t ideal, but it was free so who was I to argue/complain? This was very sweet, but otherwise not terrible for a bottled iced tea. Doesn’t really taste like “tea” but I guess I appreciate it for what it is/the need it’s sort of trying to fill?
Ordered lunch to the office today because I didn’t pack a lunch (I was hoping to leave a little early but now I don’t think that’s going to happen) and I got a free drink with what I ordered – this was the only tea related option on the drink list so I picked it up. I feel like I’ve had it before because I had a very clear image in my head of what it would taste like and when I cracked into the bottle it perfectly matched up – but I’ve not written about it on Steepster before and I very rarely miss logging a tea, even when it’s something shitty like this…
Basically this is sweet and sugary lemon with a smidge of black tea – very Nestea/Brisk in vibes, more like what I’d picture a Southern sweet tea to taste like. It’s too sweet for my liking, but I’ll finish it today because I need something to balance the gross and slightly bitter matcha that I just drank. I really don’t like the sticky feeling it leaves in my mouth after finishing a sip though – like corn syrup, almost.
Very strong, fruity aroma of fresh raspberries.
The base tea tastes like straw and grass, which is to be expected by the medium-quality white tea that Lipton puts into their bags. The taste is not very strong, but all in all this tea is really drinkable. Would probably be really good as a coldbrew.
Flavors: Fruity, Grass, Raspberry, Straw
