wonderful citrus smell, good bergamot flavor

Bought it a few days ago. It tastes empty, very watery, even with milk. I guess it’s a great tea if you don’t like spices too much. I am disappointed. Wont buy again.

I have the best office mate. I made a comment about being bored with my office teas, so he surprised me by bringing in three new boxes of tea. Adorably, they’re all flavored Lipton teas and he thought they were “fancy”. I opened this one first.

Honestly, this is not nearly as bad as I expected. It tastes like blueberries and green. Nothing actually fancy, but perfectly drinkable. The flavoring falls comfortably between totally natural-tasting and sickeningly artificial. It would probably make a decent iced tea. So thanks, office mate!

The bergamot flavor in this tea tasted artificial, 5 minutes after the brew was ready the flavor was almost gone.
The Ceylon tea was also working against the bergamot flavoring.
I can drink this tea, but only after the bergamot flavor has disappeared.

Plain, boring, green tea. Which is exactly what I was looking for. Sure it’s not as high quality as other teas, especially loose leaf, but it’s cheap and convenient. It does get a bit metallic-y if you over steep it, but I don’t mind that.

Very delicious and absolutely faboulous.

I won’t be a snob. This is good when you’ve walked over 20k steps and you’d like to take a break and cool off. Sure, it’s sweet, but it’s not as sweet and artificial as Nestea or Brisk.

Very light. Good for a warm summer night. Pineapple flavor lingers in mouth the more you let it steep (I keep the bad in the cup while sipping). No need for sweetener. Smells like pineapple, citrus, and licorice, though all I taste is pineapple and chamomile.

Great for diabetics trying to avoid sugar! The honey flavor is there without the overwhelming sweetness. My mom loves it, even though she is more of a coffee person. I think this is a low-grade green tea or it’s been diluted with something else – it doesn’t really taste like a full on green tea. Nonetheless, it’s decent for a supermarket brand.

The taste is quite basic and neutral, not pleasant, but not unpleasant. To me the only advantage of this tea is its low price. I would recommend people to drink this daily just as an added flavor to water but not to “enjoy the tea”.

I bought this five years ago when visiting in NY. Recently visited, went looking for tea, found this. Knew I must have been the one who bought it, as my very recognizable printing was on the box in bold marker “This is BLACK tea”. ( So many boxes of Lipton green tea are yellow and green boxes I wanted to make sure nobody looking for green tea would drink this one in error.) Since I can’t drink too much caffeine, I was glad to find it. Even five years old, it was worth drinking. NOT GREAT, mind you, but I was still glad it was there so I could enjoy decaf tea at our daughter’s house. I tried comparing it to Twinings decaf English and decaf Irish Breakfast teas. It was not the time. This was weaker by comparison—but in fairness, the other two teas were only six months to a year old, not five years old, like this one! Will save the comparison testing for another time when I have a newer sample of this one—whenever that may be. Good old reliable Lipton pekoe and orange pekoe black teas, always good hot with lemon and sugar! The regular (caffeinated) is the black tea I grew up with. Still makes a reliable cuppa.

I am comparing this to its sister product, Lipton White Tea with Island Peach and Mango. This one I found in NY recently. I brewed my last cup of the other and a cup of this in order to compare them. The mango flavor is much more pronounced than the peach in this blend. The scent is as heady as walking into a bodega: tropical and fruity. I brewed both cups using lightly boiled water (so, just under boiling temp), for maybe four & 1/2 minutes. Oddly, though both teas are white, this one brewed much darker, nearly as dark as a green tea`would steeped for that length of time. This one is fruitier, stronger tasting. Turns out I prefer the peachier blend of the other; it’s not as fruity, not as mango-ey, and is a lighter, not as sweet flavor as this. I will use this when making my multi-tea blends, as the fruit will blend well with both herbal and plain teas.

This tea is below average to me…

I always drink this tea either after i workout or when its cold outside..this is the best black tea I’ve ever had.

I think the taste could be quite controversial, but I found it delicious and easy to make. Don’t over-brew it, dipping the tea bag in hot water for 1-2 minutes should do.

I’m very sorry this was my last pyramid ‘bag’. I really like the green, not-quite-floral clean taste this has. It’s a light, clean bright tasting cup of white tea, with peach-to-nectarine notes. I drank it today to compare it to the other Lipton Peach Mango pyramid. This one is MUCH better, and I wish I could find it again. Maybe it’s in another part of the country, like the one I’m comparing it to is. Too bad this one isn’t here in the Chicago area. I would buy more of it again in a heartbeat!

‘Bright and clean’ is my impression. For years I have used a bag of this while making a blended pot of herbal and other peach teas. Alas, it’s another one Lipton has discontinued. Today I decided to rate it on its own. I’d previously loved it for its rich peach scent, and ability to blend beautifully with other teas. Today, though I really noticed its mango qualities. There’s that ‘edge’ of mango taste throughout, with a bare peach sweetness at the end. The white tea essence is there yet understated. It’s got a lovely clean quality, very drinkable, as in numerous cups without getting tired of it. Lipton seems to have abandoned their boxed sets of pyramid teas, this among them. I’m very sorry to see it go.

not a terrible tea bag – lemongrass, chamomile… overall a decent enough herbal, though nothing to write home about.

thank you MissB for sharing this with us. I had this a couple days ago and mostly what i remember was a strong caramel taste. it was super sweet, so more caramel than tea but it was a delicious cup of dessert heh :)
