2 Tasting Notes
I wasn’t so sure about this tea at first, but I REALLY liked this tea. The aroma very nice and sweet, and smells just like real apples. The flavour is medium-bodied I found, which is a nice place to be for a fruity tea in my opinion. I also noticed how the apple and cinnamon flavours were quite a bit stronger than the flavour of the green tea itself. However, the taste of the green tea wasn’t lost- it was just secondary. Like the tea was an apple tea that happened to be a green tea as well, rather than a spicy apple green tea. I really like to add some brown sugar to this tea to sweeten it up a bit, because personally I like this tea sweet just like a real apple pie.
Preparation
This was the first tea I ever picked up from David’s Tea, after listening to my co-workers rant and rave about the place.
The smell of this tea is divine, and really does have a cinnamon-y aroma. I find the flavour is nice and rich, and bold too. Since it has sugary sparkly bits in this mix the tea is naturally a little sweet when taken without sugar as well which is nice. Overall this tea is quite yummy, and while it isn’t my favourite tea of all time, it is one that I really do enjoy.
