66 Tasting Notes
I just had to increase my score of this tea because it is pure love. I think the previous time I used to add too much tea leaves so it had a stronger taste. However, since the end of my previous batch of Earl Grey to now, I got a measuring spoon and it’s been making my tea measurements perfect.
This is one very fine cup of tea.
I went to Samovar the past weekend for some afternoon tea & came back with a tin of Earl Grey & Jasmine Pearls. I’m so ecstatic about my Earl Grey that I’m drinking it even though I’m suppose to avoid hot drinks for a few days per request of my dentist. This leaves me sipping on lukewarm tea and surprisingly, loving every moment of it.
I’m not a big fan of this tea since there’s a lot of berry flavors that I just can’t seem to handle. There’s a hint of blueberries that makes the tea hard to drink to me, however the scent is quite floral and I’m sure the tea is good for other people who do not have a “I hate blueberry” stance in life.
My friend gave me this since I’m a big tea drinker. The scent is quite fragrant, a slight sweet vanilla/berry scent is what I get from it. I brewed it for five minutes and the tea itself is fairly light. The scent is very floral and I surprisingly enjoyed it even though I’m not a big fan of fruity/overly floral teas. The light berry taste lingers in your mouth with different sips.
