17 Tasting Notes
I like this Osmanthus Silver Needle better tha Rishi’s. It’s a better pairing of the two with a softer balance so one doesn’t overpower the other. The Silver Needle is nice, but doesn’t seem to be of the best quality. It may have been just my batch, but it seems very broken.
I really am enjoying this Silver Needle. I am on my second cup this morning and I rarely drink two cups of tea back to back. Maybe I did the perfect steep. (notice I take the credit!) This tea has an very refreshing tone, and it is flavorful while being about as smooth of Silver Needle as I may have ever had. Good morning!
Preparation
Irish Breakfast, Scottish Breakfast – I’ve honestly never really known the main difference. I’m really enjoying this tea though. Very good for a weekend when you’re going to actually eat breakfast late and you just want the tea to carry you through the first couple of hours after waking up. There are plenty of hearty flavors in here.
Silver Needle is still one of my favorite teas. I have flings with others now and then, but I always come back to my love.
This is a decent, base Silver Needle. It’s very drinkable, but it lacks structure. Also, the tea looks handled for some reason; if that makes sense.
I love Silver Needle, but I haven’t had many with flavoring. I actually think the Osmanthus is better tasting in this than the Silver Needle. Silver Needle should be smoother than this, but Osmanthus is a great selection for added flavor as it brings this up to drinkable.
