11 Tasting Notes
Lurve this tea <3 I have enjoyed it hot and cold so far and look forward to having it as a summer staple! I love the colour of it and the little bit of beetroot adds something secret and delicious you might not guess at first. I may use a sweetener on my next batch of cold though.
This one is alright but just didn’t win for me. I think there was a little too much going on and everything was trying to be the star in this picture. The star anise, cranberry and apples all wanted to be important. Not a bad tea but I won’t be buying this one again if it shows up at Christmas.
This was the first tea I ever tried at David’s. I was out of town in the mountains and just grabbed it to go on a chilly day. Honestly it wasn’t love but I would give it another chance before I walked away from it. I think it was just a little more on the nut end that what I had been looking for at the time and would hate for just the situation to spoil the whole outlook on the tea.
I really enjoy this tea but man can it not be over steeped. I really have to be careful to keep this on the lower end of the time scale (and lower then the recommend) before it becomes too much! I have not tried it with more then two steeps but so far so good. Not sure if it is a must buy again though.
I liked this tea. Not love. Liked. I got this and the Merry Cranberry at the same time not sure which one would end up winning out but I think I have to give this victory to the Cranberry pair. I didn’t find it quite as fickle or heavy as the other. Still only one brew before I had to change the tea though which is always frustrating.
Had a friend share a sample of this with me and it is just NOT my cup of tea sadly :( I keep wanting to like chocolate based teas but I can’t bring myself to enjoy them. I will maybe try this one again in a Latte if the chance shows up but till then this is not for me.
YUM! I have now had this tea hot and cold and am loving it! I will say when I made it cold I made a big pitcher of it. Added half a lemon in sliced and two tablespoons of sugar and I drank the whole thing myself. I will for sure be picking more up of this over the summer!
