I had this tea this afternoon from a tea sample I got in my Teavivre order. I wanted to brew it in something that was clear but the only clear glass teapot I have is too big. Then I got the bright idea to use my Mason jam jar. It’s the perfect size. About 3.5 or 4 oz and I could watch the leaves in the water. Brewed at 175 for 1 min. Screwed the lid on too to keep it warm! Pouring it was kind of tricky. I think I need to puncture some holes in the lid.
It was a lovely light buttery green tea. Vegetal, smooth. I did two infusions and both were very tasty. Now I blew my tea quota for the day since I had a delicious Bi Luo Chun for breakfast.

Flavors: Butter, Smooth, Vegetal

Preparation
175 °F / 79 °C 1 min, 0 sec 1 tsp 4 OZ / 118 ML

Yes, if it wasn’t so pricey, it would be a green tea that I stock all the time.

Green teas are my favourite teas but I also enjoy: white, some herbal, rooibos, raw pu’erh, light oolongs, a little bit of black , and a little bit of ripe pu’erh. I have moved away from artificial flavourings and there’s hardly anything left in my cabinet with artificial flavouring or colours. It is mostly straight teas or tea blends.
