Smells nutty and a little like cocoa in the bag. I thought this was a pretty straight forward, good tasting black tea. The person I drank it with, who is near impossible to impress, really liked it and put this at the top of her favorites. Pretty good for iced tea with sugar too. I have been using 5 or 6 “pearls” per cup lately, this seems to bring out a toasty taste I wasn’t getting when I was using less of them.
