My tea of the afternoon…or with lunch, actually. We have been on a short, last of summer trip this week, and we just happened to be in the neighborhood of the Harney & Son’s Millerton Shop. We stopped for lunch and I had Black Currant tea service with a Mike sandwich (ham and gruyere on baguette and grilled). It was lovely, and of course, I had to buy some teas to try out.

I envy you with the Mike sandwich! But I’m grateful their menu includes gluten-free selections. When I had lunch at the Soho shop recently I had the Lapsang Gravlax on Rice Crackers with green tea cream cheese, accompanied by a pot of Panyang Congou (shown in my avatar).
LadyL – that sounds INCREDIBLE! I hope I can make it there soon! There is no excuse once the fall comes!!!
green tea cream cheese.. that sounds lovely. I’m obsessed with green tea ice cream. And jealous of your stop at the Harney shop!
That would be wonderful! When I have an idea when I’m going I’ll let you know for sure :) When the humidity drops you will see me!!!!
Sounds so lovely (and I also want a Mike sandwich!)!
