I’ve been feeling a little under the weather for about a week now and a friend of mine recommended that I try this tea. I had a cup of cold 911 yesterday and found that it really cleared my sinuses but didn’t do anything to relieve my other symptoms. The woman at the store even said that she finds it helpful for the nausea that comes along with the flu. As far as smell, i found it to be very similar to detox but for the taste, I found it to have much stronger citrus notes. I really liked how the flavours are balanced and are not competing; after all the last thing you want when you are sick is something really strong! It definitely lived up to its promise as a cold remedy but I can’t see myself reaching for it for the taste alone. As I am using my phone and can’t rate, I will just mention here that I am giving this tea an 80 (taking into consideration both, what it is meant for, and the taste).
I like Ginger Pu erh or Super Ginger when I’m sick.
Thanks heather. I haven’t tried either of those yet but will be adding them to my shopping list!
And actually, I really like Coco Lemon Thai for when I am not feeling well too. It is not as strong as the others, but it is comforting, and again, has a bit of ginger.
