18 Tasting Notes
Ah, very refreshing!
This certainly changed my “awakeness level”. After drinking a cup of this (and being tired as well), I could feel my body relaxing and begging me to go lay down in a bed. It felt very nice, and very relaxing.
As for the flavour of this tea, it is quite something else. Has a bit of tart to it, and the peppermint pulls out some bitterness. I’m not a big fan of peppermint, and I generally don’t eat any mint things. However, this tea was very good, and I found the flavours to complement each other quite well.
I certainly recommend this to anyone who needs a relaxing tea, with a soft, yet elegant flavour.
Enjoy!
Preparation
Ah! My first ever Pu’Erh tea, and I couldn’t be more pleased. I do find the earthy flavour to it very mild, but for someone who has never tasted an earthy tea it seemed a bit… Odd, to say the least.
However, the tea was very, very nice. It was on the more mild end of the scale for the cinammon flavour, and I quite enjoyed this. I will definitely be making this again, and trying out new Pu’Erh teas when I get the chance.
I recommend this to anyone wanting to try Pu’Erh (I can’t recommend to other Pu’Erh fans, since I don’t know and can’t rate how this ranks up with other Pu’Erh teas, but I certainly love it!)
Preparation
This is certainly not a tea I would enjoy to drink again. However, it’s not as bad as everyone is saying in my opinion.
It has a somewhat odd flavour to it, almost like medicine and leaves a somewhat poor after taste. But it’s weak in its flavour, and has a nice essence side to it I suppose.
In short, if you are wondering or not you would like this tea I would say you should avoid it. However, it’s not terrible, and I’ll probably finish off the package of tea.
Preparation
Wow!
I am absolutely surprised by the elegance and flavour of this tea. It wasn’t what I expected, and I don’t know if I can even describe this tea. It’s interesting to say the least, tastes wonderful and simply makes you feel ready for the day.
I recommend this as a morning tea but it certainly can be drank at any time.
Quite simply put, I highly recommend this tea to everyone.
Preparation
I really don’t want to rate this low, because it isn’t my cup of tea in the first place. I really hate coconut, it’s not something I enjoy eating ever. However, the smell of this tea was absolutely amazing and I couldn’t get away from how good it smelled. I could just barely smell a hint of coconut, and I figured the taste would be the same.
I really wish it was, since it tasted exceptional, and I probably could drink it (grudgingly). The coconut really overpowered the drink for me, although I will likely be giving it a second try in the future.
If you don’t like coconut, and figure this tea could taste good I would recommend avoiding it. However, if you do, it does have a very sweet and unique flavour.
Preparation
I am not a fan of black teas, and tend to not enjoy most. There are a few exceptions, and this is by far the highest.
If you don’t like black teas, but always want to find one to enjoy I highly recommend this, it’s great tasting, isn’t too strong and has a great flavour of chocolate and mint. Although, I don’t find that this tea does to well with multiple steeps (beyond 2), but is really enjoyable under that. If you add some sugar it can be quite good on the 3rd steep, but I can’t go beyond that.
I would most recommend this tea for after a non-sweet dinner.
Preparation
This is definitely one of my most favourite teas.
Although it can be a bit strong, if you do just 1 tea spoon for cup and about 3-5minute steep time it comes out a bit weaker and isn’t to overpowered.
I don’t add any sugar to this tea, it’s nice and sweet all on it’s own! With a few sour notes.
If you like other herbal teas, or citrus teas I would highly recommend this. I don’t think you can go wrong!
