So I had this one yesterday and it tasted off. I tried again today in a different (and smaller cup). It is still not that good. Tastes a bit like alcohol, a bit acidic, very flat. I think the bergamot is bad. This one uses real oil of bergamot so I am wondering if the oil has “turned”. I am just throwing the box. It was a best before date of 2015 and was kept in a cool, dark place, but there is something not right about it. Doesn’t taste the same as when I first opened the box. Too bad. Goodbye sweet bergamot!

oh this would have me upset…. i truly dislike bergamot. probably as much as others dislike hibiscus. i’m glad it makes you 95 out of 100 happy though!
Ha ha. I LOVE bergamot. I love earl grey and bergamot flavoured things. If there was a bergamot flavoured pump syrup, I would invest in the company. Ha ha.
I am not going to lie. I have thought about moving to Italy, buying a Bergamot orange plantation, and squeeze orange rinds all day (while sipping tea of course!)
it would be a lovely thing! you could hang out with a balsamic vinegar producer and work out a genius technique for producing a high end reduction….. it could be used with carbonated water, over iced cream. i don’t even like bergamot (seriously, not even a little) and i would buy bottles here and there for my fellow steepster entrepreneur. it’s true!
Ha ha. You guys are such enablers. Hmm… A bergamot entrepreneur, I kind of like that. Not sure but here goes most of my time today into google searching bergamot production.
When I first tried this, I loved it. I really love bergamot and this tea was really good with the extra bergamot oil in it. However, when I recently tried it again, I think the bergamot oil had spoiled or gone rotten because it did not taste very good. So I still really like this tea. It was just the last time I drank it, there was something wrong with it. Hope that makes sense.

You do not like it, but give 95 point of 100?

Hope, next time this tea will be as good as at first time :)
