Oh no.
I wanted so badly to like this tea. Maybe the reviews here and the idea of a “milk oolong” just built up in my mind and lead to disappointment. To be honest, it’s probably just my unrefined tastes at work here – but still – I really wanted this to be so good. I totally get the creamy/buttery taste and feel of this tea, but perhaps if it weren’t for the bad smell I was getting off of it I might’ve been able to enjoy it more. I drank half my cup and couldnt really finish the rest. Not so much because I found it so gross, but it was just too much – too much of something I can’t put my finger on. Richness? Anyways. No dice for this tea and me.
I hope that one day I will either be able to appreciate this tea/find one that I really do like.

Out of all the milk oolongs I’ve tried, this one is my least favourite. Don’t write off milk oolongs yet – try another and see if you find it any better.
Thanks I’ll keep that in mind! I can see why people like it, but this one just isn’t for me. The search for a milk oolong I like continues! :)
What-cha’s is excellent and very well priced. It’s a bit more complex and floral than some other milk oolongs I’ve had. I also really like Cornelia Bean’s though it’s expensive ($38/100g?)

Thank you! I’ll try and get my hands on some of those!
I had this as part of the advent calendar, and didn’t like it at all either. The reviews led me to believe it would be magical.
