Bought this on a whim when I was buying some puerh from the seller. This was cheap tea. And from the taste of it I would say low quality too. It basically started with notes of bitter, sour, and vegetal. I only steeped it four times both because I really didn’t want to keep drinking it and I had had enough caffeine for the day. It did not have that sweet note a good Tie Guan Yiin should have. At least it was really cheap so I didn’t lose much.
I steeped this four times in a 150ml gaiwan with 7g leaf and 190 degree water. I gave it a 10 second rinse. I steeped it for 5 sec, 5 sec, 7 sec, and 10 sec. It might improve if I were to steep it four or more times but I’m not going to today.
Flavors: Bitter, Sour, Vegetal
