Last of this lot. Still holding on, despite being almost a year old. Lots of honeysuckle, lavender, chamomile. Very gentle.

Five steeps yesterday. Five steeps today. This has got a nice green quality to it, but it’s still very young. A bit of menthol and mint develop mid-palate, but overall it’s a generally quiet cup.

I got a 2 oz. sample from puerhshop.com. Just into the first steeping and it’s a little straw-like and bland, but I’m seeing some potential for future steepings. More later.

Last of my lot. Starting to really lose a lot. A good example of how green teas really fade within a year.

This held on for three solid steeps before giving out. I’ve been having trouble honing in on the best steeping times and water temps, but think this particular example is pretty flexible. Light and juicy. Very nice.

This is easily my favorite tea right now. So much great fresh flavor. This has really opened up the world of greener oolongs to me. And it wasn’t even that expensive!

This is the second time I’ve had sheng pu-erh and the second time I’ve brewed it myself. I’m sure my brewing expertise isn’t up to par for brewing pu-erh well. Nonetheless, this is an interesting cup. Golden raisins, mellow figs, and light cane sugars dominate the first steep. We’ll see where it goes from there.

This is starting to show some age, with a bit of a stale biscuit character up front. As well, the honeydew notes have subsided significantly.
