On the 18th day of sipdowns..

Okay. I got this today from a promotion Yogi was doing so they sent me two teabags, this and their Spiced Dandelion Detox so it only really half counts as a sipdown because I only had one teabag as it is.
I didn’t actually read the package so it was a surprise when I pulled out the teabag and it was a black tea (I expected an Herbal) but it could work.

My first impression was…soapy. I can’t taste much of the raspberry flavor but there is a bite of ginger towards the end of the sip. It could possibly be flavored with raspberry leaf, which I can’t identify as well. I taste a little bit of peppermint and overall it tastes like herbs – something I’ve come to expect from Yogi and part of why I tend to steer clear.

Overall, I won’t be buying this, but if I’m not feeling well and need a pick me up tea, this could fit the bill.

Edit:
I just read the ingredients and was interested to see that theres pu’erh in this tea. I didn’t taste it and don’t usually care for pu’erh so this gives me hope that maybe sometime I’ll find a pu’erh I like :P
