This tea was one of the favorites of the ladies that work at Wing Hop Fung. It’s WHF number is 1209 and goes for $58/lb. If you have had WHF’s Fresh Fragrance (#1241) this is like that but on steroids. A very floral tea, and also good for three longish brews for me. I brew for 3 minutes then 5 then 10 or more for the last. (I don’t use real hot water, I prefer about 170 degrees) Most teas won’t go that distance and still have a full taste. It doesn’t get bitter, has a great aroma and very nice floral Oolong taste, not over fermented like some Oolongs. Gao Shan means high mountain.
