A long leafed, dark colored oolong with little rose buds added. No orchids. Delicate nutty flavor, reminiscent of some better Chinese restaurant teas. This has become my preferred tea in the office. It’s cheap ($19/pound) , it tastes good, and it can handle the occasional long over-steeping without getting bitter (I tend to get distracted in front of my computer, and forget to pour). I start a pot in the morning, and resteep it most of the day. I suspect it can handle resteeping because it uses souchong (lower) leaves, which would also explain the price. Wing Hop Fung also sells the same tea without the rose buds added, I suspect it tastes nearly the same, but I like the look of the flowers.
