Description

The native people used more than 1000 plant species. Labrador tea (Ledum groelandicum) is one of them.

This medium-sized shrub (30 to 120 cm) is mainly found in boreal or arctic climate.

Only the last leaves are hand-harvested.

While having a characteristic smell, the infusion of a few leaves reveals a mixture of plant aromas such as caraway, peppermint, tarragon and grapefruit.

This plant possesses a powerful aroma, do not infuse too long.
