Darjeeling Badamtam is a delicately fragrant tea, produced from the first new shoots of the Darjeeling bushes. Its taste evokes the peace, tranquility and beauty of the landscape of its origins.
The tea is grown on the esteemed Badamtam Estate, perched high in the hills of Darjeeling. The plants are watched over by the Kanchenjunga, the World’s 3rd highest mountain and known as the Sleeping Buddha because of its likeness to a man sleeping on his back. In the 100 years since the estate was first planted, it has steadily perfected its elegant Darjeelings. This first flush is picked as the spring sun warms the valleys. The young shoots have a delightfully sweet floral taste with just the right hint of astringency.
Darjeeling Badamtam is a tea of exceptional quality and taste. A must for any connoisseur, it is a tea that deserves your whole attention when you are drinking it.
