Formosa Jade Oolong is a delicate, peachy oolong tea, perfect for drinking throughout the day.
It takes its name from the original name of Taiwan, Formosa, which means ‘beautiful island’. Highly prized, it is ranked as one of the best teas in the world. It is extremely skillfully processed, creating a flavour that falls half way between a black and a green tea. Its floral, lingering sweetness comes from a process of repeatedly bruising and shaking the leaves.
Nearly green and only very lightly fermented, this Formosa Jade Oolong has leaves that are rolled into small, tight balls. The jade green cup, alluring scent and softly fruity note reminiscent of peach blossoms make this tea stand out as something truly special.
