From white2tea

The Barb’s breakfast black is an homage to my mother, who despite years of being baited with high-end Puer teas, still prefers to start her day with a heavily brewed pot of black tea in the morning. This Yunnan black tea blend is built to survive British style steeping as well as gongfu style brewing techniques. Well balanced daily drinking black tea with a classic style, versatile enough to enjoy with breakfast on the go or in a slow and quiet tea session.

This is a tasty black tea. I added a different sweetener to this so I’m not sure how much I’m tasting is the honey crystals and how much is the tea but it is good. It has a certain malty character to it but not too strong. It is good.

I brewed this once in a Teavana Glass Perfect Tea Maker/Gravity Steeper with 3 tsp leaf and 200 degree water for 3 min.

Thank you for the sample Phi!

This is a soldly tasty black tea. Probably not something I will re-purchase because there are cheaper black teas that I enjoy even more but I am quite glad to have a chance to try this one! :D

Terri sent this one my way and it was one of my teas from this morning to kick off the day. over all a decent blend for the morning but nothing to write home about. It did make me a little more curious about some of the other teas from white 2tea so i’m hoping i can get an order in eventually :)

This tea, from the White2Tea club, was my companion this morning during my first practice session of the day. I also tried it the other day. So now I have drank it twice, once as a cup of tea steeped 3 min & resteeped 5, and today as a gongfu session. In both cases it was very satisfying. That’s really all I have to say, & I wish I could offer more by way of description, but it really is tasty :)
