“Smells sweet and smokey. It’s not too bland but not very bold. It’s a little too bitter for my taste. It’s not my favorite, but it’s not bad.” Read full tasting note
This Taochaju raw puer cake was pressed in 2012 with a blend of 2011 Mengsong old arbor material. Mengsong Guyun is fruity and has less kuwei [bitterness] than the other younger Taochaju productions. It is a very friendly and inviting introduction to raw puer. Although it could be purchased to age, it is ready to drink immediately.
