A blend of fruity, thick and sweet raw Puer materials that bring the depth and complexity of higher end material to the forefront while balancing for crippling economic recession. Long lingering sweetness in the mouth, bright and bumpin. Will thicken up into syrupy sweetness with age, but no doubt enjoyable now for the lovers of the fresh raw.
Each cake is 200 grams. The cakes are wrapped in bamboo leaf tongs, with five cakes per tong.

This tea has brewed up surprisingly sweet and fruity to me, with tangier notes of tamarind and peaches sort of defining the session overall. I couldn’t remember the site description of this sheng at all so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect and I was sort of just down for anything, but the medium body and lively flavours of this tea are kind of exactly what I didn’t know I needed. I’ve gone back now and reread Paul’s description of the tea and I honestly couldn’t agree more; it IS thick and syrupy and “bright and bumpin” is probably just about as apt as one could possibly get!
