Description

A most unusual Wuyi oolong possessing a thick and smooth taste of roasted plums with a sweet finish.

A very unusual tea which is produced from a natural purple varietal mutation from Da Hong Pao, hence it’s name Zi Hong Pao (Zi translates as purple).

Zi Hong Pao is also a rather rare tea, as less than 1 hectare of land in total is producing it.

Tasting Notes:
- Smooth and thick texture
- Roasted plum taste with a sweet lingering finish
