A great second flush Darjeeling from Castleton tea estate; regarded as one the best estates in Darjeeling. An incredibly smooth tea with no astringency and distinct muscatel flavour.
Tasting Notes:
- Very smooth with no astringency
- Muscatel taste with slight sweetness
Origin: Castleton Tea Estate, Darjeeling
Brewing Advice:
- Heat water to roughly 90°C/194°F
- Use 1-2 teaspoons per cup/small teapot
- Brew for 3-4 minutes
- Always remove the leaves from the water once the tea has brewed
- Re-use the leaves multiple times and increase steeping time with each subsequent infusion
- Best without milk
