“Sipdown. I’ve been doing a lot of stashbusting lately, and it feels good. I’m ready to move on to autumn teas and rotate out some of the old ones. I still can’t believe I haven’t rated this yet...” Read full tasting note
Produced in the Fujian province of China, these large tea leaves are smoked over a pine-wood fire, giving them an intensely smoky flavor. When infused, a full-bodied, dark, smoky infusion arises. Its flavor has often been compared to that of a single malt scotch. A very popular tea, but an acquired taste. Not for the light-hearted!
