Keemun Hao Ya B is also rarely available outside China. So good is it that this beautifully winey tea is largely kept within China. Followed Hao Ya A,it ranks second in keemun grading. Known for its fine buds,it shows prominent amounts of golden tips. We Chinese say the bouquet of the tea like the perfume of an orchid while many foreign friends told me it is like toast hot from the oven. Being made of young buds, the gourmet tea is mellow, sweet and even suitable for gentlemen who seldom drink black tea.
Keemun Hao Ya B produces liquor with luster and bright reddish brown color. In a cup,the tea gives bright golden ring appeared near the edge of liquor to the cup. The golden ring is the sign that tea leaves are rich in theaflavins that is vital for good quality.
