The family of Huang Ruiguang Mi Lan Dancong is taken once a year from isolated trees that are not pruned to encourage deeper roots and stronger flavor, year after year. His mountain terrain and decades of work in improving agricultural techniques for the region have won Milan Huang Ruiguang awards such as the recent 2015 Gold Medal at the sixth Guangdong Tea Expo. Mi Lan variety is distinguished by its distinctive golden green leaf color in early spring and its luscious deep aromatic compounds.
